***For the spring 2024 season. The Milton AYSO will be requiring parents/guardians of players to attend a meeting before the season. This meeting will cover the expectation for both players and spectators during games and practices***

All players will be placed on wait-list until January. Players will be activated from wait list as coaches are secured for a team. Payment of registration will be due within 14 days after a player is activated from wait-list

Please note that 5U is a Jamboree style soccer program. They may scrimmage once and a while but there are no formal games. Depending on your child's age they may opt to play in 6U. Also they do not need uniform for 5U.

Who can register to play in Milton AYSO?

Any interested and age appropriate youth that lives in Milton, Pennsylvania or any surrounding community.

I have registered my child and it shows that he/she is wait-listed. What does this mean?

Some children upon registering will be "wait-listed" initially while we secure coaches for a team. Once that has been done, you will be notified via e-mail that your child has been removed from the wait-list and the FULL balance will be due. You will have 14 days to either pay the balance in full or contact us. Otherwise your place in line may be lost.

Can I request that two siblings in the same age group play together?

Guardians may request this during registration, provided each child is in the same division.

Where and when are the games played?

All home games will be held on SATURDAYS at the Milton State Park (also known as "The Island"). The physical address is Route 642, Milton Pa 17847. Milton AYSO typically plays Warrior Run, Northumberland, Mifflinburg, Selinsgrove, Lewisburg, Mid-West and Line Mountain. Travel to these regions should be expected. ** NOTE- U5 does NOT play games and therefore DO NOT travel.

When are Practices?

Practice days are usually on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday but may include Friday evenings. Practice days are specific to the Coach's availability. Practice days and times cannot and will not be announced until the volunteer coach has successfully passed all of the required clearances to coach.

Can my child play in a younger division?

No. Players are not permitted to play in a younger division .

What are the dates for the spring season?

Practices will begin in late March/ early April. First games will be middle to late April and ( no games May 27th ) and the last games will be early to Midd June.

Can my child play in an older division?

Guardians may request that their child play-up at the next higher age group. This request must be made each year and will be considered on an individual basis. All requests should meet the following criteria:

The player's DOB misses the cutoff for the next division by five months or less at the start of the fall season.
The player possesses advanced skills and a maturity level commensurate with the next division.
Moving the player up does not handicap or overload any team rosters within either division.

Each play-up request must be submitted through [email protected] before the end of the registration date.

Can I request a particular coach?

No. Players are assigned to teams in an effort to create balanced teams throughout Milton AYSO.

What are the costs?

The registration fee for Spring 2024 soccer is $50.00 per player (this includes an annual insurance fee of $20.00). The registration fee does NOT include a uniform. If your child played in the fall of 2023 the annual insurance fee will not be charged and you will only pay $30.
A uniform consists of an orange jersey, black bottoms and black socks. The cost of the jersey is $15.00. ( This price may need to go up due to rising prices)
IF YOU NEED TO ORDER a jersey- please be sure to enter your child's jersey size during registration. We will assume that any sizes entered are needed.
If you DO NOT need to order a jersey- DO NOT enter a size during registration.
Payment for uniforms is due when you pick it up. You do not need to pay when you register.

Can I get a refund?

The registration fee is non-refundable. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us.

What can I do to ensure that my child has a positive experience in youth soccer?

Become involved in the program! Milton AYSO is a 100% volunteer run organization. Our program would not exist without volunteers. We need positive coaches, referees, team parents, and field maintenance help week in and week out. Please consider becoming a volunteer!
